Minimalist 3D Fluid Simulation — Organic Skincare Study
01. Overview
In high-end cosmetics and clean-beauty branding, the user experience is defined by purity, realism, and natural textures. This visual study focuses on replicating organic liquid behaviors in a real-time 3D web environment.
Using Spline 3D, I designed an interactive experience featuring a realistic amber glass serum dropper resting on a dynamically responsive liquid puddle. The interaction showcases how fluid simulation can bring a sense of tactile realism to digital product showcases.
02. Interactive Physics & Material Design
Organic Fluid Interaction
Surface Tension & Merging: The fluid reacts dynamically to user interaction, stretching and snapping back with organic cohesion and realistic surface tension.
Liquid Physics: Simulated real-time metaball-like fluid behaviors that mimic the viscosity of a premium skin serum.
Realistic Amber Glass Material
Material Integrity: A detailed amber glass material with accurate refraction, roughness, and translucency, paired with realistic label mapping.
Minimalist Aesthetic: A clean, earth-toned color palette (beige, amber, and light gray) designed to evoke a clinical, organic, and trustworthy brand identity.
