Bach — Multi-Currency Digital Banking Dashboard

Case Study — Bach (Fintech Platform)
Overview
Bach is a fintech platform that allows users to manage multiple bank accounts and cards, track expenses, monitor exchange rates, trade currencies, and manage credit products within a single interface.
Problem
Users often struggle to manage financial information across multiple banking apps. This fragmentation creates confusion, reduces financial visibility, and makes it difficult to track spending, monitor balances, and take timely financial actions.
Goal
Design a unified financial interface that enables users to clearly understand their financial status, manage multiple assets, and take quick actions such as payments, transfers, and currency trading.
My Role
Led UI design and defined the structure of a data-heavy financial interface, focusing on clarity, hierarchy, and usability.
Process
- Analyzed common fintech app patterns and user needs
- Defined core features: accounts, cards, transactions, currency exchange, and credit management
- Created wireframes to organize complex financial data
- Iterated on layout to improve readability and reduce cognitive load
- Refined UI components for consistency across the platform
Key Decisions & Why
- Centralized all financial data into a single dashboard to improve visibility
- Prioritized key information (balances, recent transactions) to support quick understanding
- Designed clear visual hierarchy to separate accounts, cards, and credit products
- Simplified currency trading flow to reduce friction in buy/sell actions
- Used modular card-based components to support scalability and flexibility
Outcome
Created a clear and structured financial experience that improves visibility of assets and transactions, reduces cognitive load, and enables users to manage their finances more efficiently.
